One main thing I wanted to suggest that is different from many suggestions I've seen is the matter of Taiwan. Not quite as extensive, but I also thought about giving them a unique Inward Perfection privilege I had my own ideas for a Ming mission tree.
#NEW MING FREE#
I hope you liked this post, and feel free to add any suggestions you have! Currently I'm working on implementing this tree with actual triggers and rewards, and I also want to add some mechanics to encourage a faster Chinese unification after Mingsplotion, as well as more mission trees for Chinese satetes. Also, even if the AI was able to complete some missions, the would be stuck in "The Mandate of Heaven", because as far as I have seen in a lot of games, AI Ming will never unite China.

#NEW MING HOW TO#
These are things that the AI just doesn't know how to handle. This will reward you with an event that changes all their governments to monarchies, so that you are safe from the "Unguarded Nomadic Frontier Disaster"Īfter this, you might think: Well the AI is going to follow this tree and be OP! My response: It is very unlikely, because most of the top missions require improving development, owning crownland, and having strong relations with subjects. After that, you get "Tame the Hordes" which requieres to have 0% LD and at least 100 relations with all hordes in Manchuria and Mongolia. It rewards you with a force tributary CB to all hordes in Manchuria and Mongolia The "Control the North" mission is satisfied when you own all your Northern neighbours as tributaries, or subjects of tributaries, while having them below 50% LD and relations of at least 50.It grants a small boost to colonize, so I added a small incentive to colonize the Spice Islands (Maybe in 1.31 will include having provinces that produce cloves) "Colonize Taiwan" is only there because that mission exists in-game, so I'm supposing the devs want it to exist. After that, Korea is transfered to you as a vassal "Little China" requires to have a loyal Korea (0% LD) with 200 relations. After having a huge fleet to "Protect the tributaries", you gain force tributary CB's on all countries in Japan, Burma, Indochina and Nusantara. "Establish tributaries" Requires having 30 tributaries (Now, the celestial emperor has a +900 acceptance of tributary, so you can make non-neighbours tributaries if you have the right tools). The bottom-right branch of the tree is focused on making tributaries."Ming Porcelain" is a small mission that focuses on the main good produced at the time by the Ming: Porcelain. After all, you have modernized the Middle Kingdom and made the tributary system obsolete "Chinese Hegemony" is fulfilled when you are an hegemon while having a huge amount of loyal tributaries, and I haven't thought of any reward, but might change your tributaries to non-relations vassals, just like revoking the privilegia."The Middle Kingdom" requires to have an influential role in Asia, while having a lot of development in China proper. After fulfilling some conditions, you may be able to "Open China" and revoke the obnoxious "Ming's Inwards Perfection" privilege.
